The trip travels along the southern coastal highway and stops at major cities along the way such as Curitiba, Joinville, and Camboru.  You know you are arriving when you begin to cross the long bridge to the island, and the terminal is not far on the other side, located close to downtown Florianopolis.  With so many beaches to explore, not many people go to Florianopolis to see the city though.  Unfortunately getting to the beaches requires further local buses, taxis, or even Uber now.  Be warned, Florianopolis traffic can be crazy.
