Buzios is located about 200 kilometers (120 Miles) from the Rio international airport, connected by a highway which is rather flat. The highway experiences high traffic levels and the commute when traffic is flowing is about 3 hours, but be aware that passengers can experience travel times of up to 6 hours during the high season and special dates such as the Brazilian Carnival or New Years.
